It gives me great pleasure to inform you about the recent developments at our hotel. The Emerald - Hotel & Executive Apartments is now a premier member of Hotusa Hotels. Hotusa Hotels is a Spanish chain and is one of the most popular and leading European brands.
In our continuous endeavor to offer the utmost in comfort to our Guests, The Emerald has revamped its look and interiors, both externally and internally.
A Classy Glass Façade along with an upgraded Porch area; Spacious and well maintained Rooms and Apartments that have been redesigned keeping in mind the changing tastes of our Guests.
We are thankful to our Guests for bearing with us during the Renovation and Refurbishment work which has been undertaken by us since 2008. I am glad to inform you that more than 75% of our Rooms have a new look and feel after the Renovation and Refurbishment. During the course of Refurbishment, we have successfully managed to increase the size of 50% of our Guest rooms. This has increased the comfort level of our Guests tremendously and made the Guest Rooms very spacious. The Renovation and Refurbishment exercise will be completed by September 2010.
The changes reflect the commitment of the Management towards maintaining the high standards of hospitality and service. Our effort is always to make our Guests feel that they are comfortable even when they are away from home.
The Restaurant & the Bar area has been upgraded and now showcases a variety of cuisines.
The newest attraction of The Emerald is the ‘open air dining’. The ambience and the freshness of the sea air lends itself to a special treatment for all Guests. At the same time, an appealing spread of breakfast is now is also served at the Lawns.
The Hotel has procured an electrically operated handsfree Sugarcane juice machine. The introduction of sugarcane juice has been a big hit with our Guests specially during breakfast time.
Considering the need of our guests, especially the business traveler, to be connected to the business world, The Emerald has redesigned its Business center with more work stations and faster internet access.
The Fitness center has been renovated with additional exercise equipment.

For the Health conscious Guests our Executive Chef has designed a new Zero oil Low Cholesterol vegetarian menu, which is a brain child of our Honorable Chairman.
